SO, we were asked why we only play twice a month and the bottom line is that Mario just could not fit in anymore with his busy schedule.  However, the three remaining rock and roll beasts must be fed more.  So it's my pleasure to introduce: 3Ringer!!!

Been a while...

The lead singer of this band is named Mario Aguilar.  He sings for Dead Ringer.  He would never sing for "Mario Aguilar and his super electric band."  Nor would he sing for a band named after an individual.  A band is just that, a band.  A group of individuals making art together. Naming a band after yourself is just douchey.  Just saying!

When looking for a band, please consider entertainment value and your audience.  Bringing in a band who is more interested in album sales and plays music no one has ever heard of brings no value to those ready to party and dance the night away.  Another humble opinion.

THANK YOU to those that reminded me that some people are not on facebook and rely on this site for schedules and stuff!

What's up?!

Time flies! It's already November and the year is coming to close. Once again I just want to thank all you rockers that have hung out with Dead Ringer and support the San Antonio music scene. Please be sure to drop by our facebook page and drop a note or make a request. We're over due for some new songs so any recommendations would be great. 2011 might bring some changes but DR will be stronger than ever! Thanks!!!

Rock and Roll Marathon

RNRSA If you're in a band and just want to have a fantastic time and feel like you're a part of something big, be sure and try to get in to the Rock and Roll Marathon. Dead Ringer proudly has represented in the past where over 300 bands apply and only 50 get picked. Good luck!
